this Tartan was designed in the memory of our cat JD who was a Siamese.. the sweetest cat .. He died 11 April 2023 at age 20 due to cancer. My husband and i had him 17 years He showed up one night on the front porch, then several nights after so we decided to take him in. we took him to the vet to see if he was chipped, they needed a name for the records so we said call him John Doe. After a fortnight no one claimed him so we decided to keep him and shortened his name from John Doe to JD¬ In November of 2022 he started to get really thin so we took him to OSU Vet hospital he came under the care of Doctor Sarah Jones . JD was too sick to do a lot of tests so we treated him with steroids which helped. Sadly on the 10th of April he had a hard time breathing so I took him to OSU Vet emergency he could have been hospitalised but decided to take him home but the 11th he took a turn for the worse. WE took him back and he was placed in a breathing chamber and was just downgrading fast. They took xrays of his lungs and turned out it cancer … so we had to make the hard choice to let him cross the rainbow bridge. Profits from the sale of the tartan will go to Cats with Cancer Charity
